Beerweb.dk

We are building here (with a few beer breaks now and then).
A giant collection of beer labels and reviews is now being brought on-line.

However, things do take time. Be sure to check back in for progress.
Also, you should visit some of these other beer resources on the web (below).

Carl's Special was part of the Danish Beer Election - a marketing stunt where the Danish population was asked to vote between eight new beers. The winning beer would be produced along with Carlsberg's normal range.
The winning beer was - unsurprisingly - Carl's Special, as this beer was widely know in advance from having being available on draught for years, while all the other beers were new.
Released in 1995, Carlsberg ICE was the first Danish Ice-filtered beer. Coomonly for this type of beer it was an easily drinkable beer with no particular taste or texture. Great for a hot summer day, but also fairly boring on it's own.

Tuborg

Released in 1993 as a celebration of the 120th. anniverisary of the Tuborg Brewery. Classic represented a return to an older taste ideal with a more complex and full taste. Just like in the old days - more or less. Tuborg Classic became instantly popular and is still sold as of today. Were similar to the later Carl's Special. Today every big Danish brewery has a "Classic" beer.
